Here are the benefits you will receive when you purchase new glasses from our optical:
At our office you’re treated as a patient, not just a customer who makes a purchase. We’re locally owned and operated. We care about our patients for a lifetime, and we stand behind our products years down the road.
Professional “Position of Wear” Measurements
Our opticians take professional “Position of Wear” measurements of your eyes in the actual frame that is fitted on you in real life. These important measurements include: segment height, vertex distance, pupillary distance, pantoscopic tilt, and frame wrap. These 5 important “position of wear” measurements ensure that you’ll receive precisely crafted lenses that deliver exceptional visual performance. Online glasses retailers have no way of taking these important measurements regardless of how advanced their websites may look virtually. Don’t fall for the misconception that you only need your prescription and PD (pupillary distance) to order glasses. Below is a picture of the measurements that are actually used in your digital lens manufacturing process.
Digital Lens Design Based on Your Unique Rx
We use the latest lens technologies for single vision and progressive lenses that give you the most comfortable and high-definition visual experience. Digital lenses are made-from-scratch and customized based on your unique eye position and eye movements, your prescription power, and the specific frame that is properly fitted on you. Digital lenses are designed by advanced software utilizing millions of calculations, and are manufactured using state-of-the-art equipment. In order to receive 100% of the benefits from digital lenses, professional “position of wear” measurements must be taken because they are vital for the optical calculations in the lens manufacturing process. Don’t settle for basic stock lenses that are manufactured overseas, stocked in a warehouse, and then simply cut to fit into the frame. You deserve the best visual experience possible which can only come from lenses that are digitally manufactured to your unique specifications.
